I did $32,000 in sales before lunch today. I'll repeat that, $32,000 in sales not in just one day but before lunchtime today. And it's all because of a couple of things and that's what I'm going to tell you about in this live video right now.
So, don't go anywhere because I promise you, a couple of years ago I was not in this situation. A couple of years ago I had a million dollar business, that was gyms. I was at the fitness business and the martial arts, and even the beginning of last year I had 4 gym location.
A couple of years ago I was doing a million dollars in that but I was not happy. I had tons of anxiety because I was trying to do multiple things. I was trying to do a coaching business. I tried to launch an agency. I was trying to open more locations and I was also going through a divorce.
And all these things together, it made me the most unhappy person. I couldn't grow my business, I just couldn't get past that million dollar mark. I was like, I'm going to take this from a million to a million a month and it wasn't happening.
In fact, there was a lot of struggles with even keeping things going, like one business was growing, the other one was suffering. Like what the hell am I doing? I'm a coach. I cannot be letting my own gyms fail.
And I learned a couple of things, first of 2016 Facebook Ads stop working the same way. Maybe you did Facebook Ads and they don't work the same way before or maybe you've never done it before.
Anyways, we did it in 2016, we crushed it, we killed it. The same time I was going through with all this mess and I had to learn something else because it stopped working. So, I started developing the social influence system and I guess the Facebook and social media gods waited until 2019 to say,
"Okay, now your system is ready".
And now what I've been working for the last two years is killing it.
What I'm going to talk about is one of the things that I worked on throughout my UFC career. I used to be a UFC fighter for those of you who don't know. I was one of the best in the world.
I was a top contender and I had an eye injury, I went blind and I had to stop fighting. I got into the business, I opened a fitness martial arts gym and I started coaching people. Like I said a couple of years ago, that almost fell apart. I had been hanging by a thread of my little pinky and I held it together, a lot of people don't share this type of stuff.
Long story short, I made transitions to where I am now. A social media influence coach and I own an agency. And we're a couple of people crash it. And one of the weird parts of my strategy is doing live videos like this every day but it's not just going live and pushing a lot of buttons. It's what you write, it's what you say, it's the format of the videos. And if you're interested in knowing that, I'll work with you on it.
But I just want to explain to you that the power of the system and the power of something else that I worked on the last couple of years which is what I call, "The Power of Three".
There are 3 different categories of human being that you need in your life.
Number 1, you need mentors and you need your coaches. Like in the MMA industry, we call them, coaches. Our leaders, our mentors, our coaches. I came from sports, I played sports and coaches have more impact on my life as my parents.
With the right coaches, you can go to where you've got to. 2007 I was new in the UFC. I was coming off of a loss, I met a coach and I got hooked up with the right coach. And I went to the top contender in the middleweight division, I was ranked number 2 or number 3 in the world at that time.
There are 2 other types of human beings that you need. The second is you need peers, you need people that are on the same level as you. You need to network with people.
For me, whenever I was fighting I found other people that were middleweights and light heavyweights that around my size that were also coming up, that we complement each other. I became best friends with Ben, an Olympic wrestler, he was a little bit smaller than me. My striking skills are better, his wrestling skills are a lot better, we complement each other. We're peers. This what I call equals.
You got to have equals in your life also. And here's a part a lot of people don't pay attention to. The third thing is you need people to be under you also. A lot of people say surround yourself with people that are richer than you, that way you're not broke.
But I surround myself with broke people sometimes as long as they have the mindset and the coachability to allow me to coach them.
So, that's why I think having a coaching business even if it's not your main business on the side, working with people, mentoring people or just doing it for free, helps you learn better and it's also paying it forward. It's just how the world goes around, this karma thing is kind of real.
I believe in the power of gratefulness and paying it forward and giving back and that's what I try to do. So, if I could equate the success that I'm having right now. Like I said $32,000 today in sales, and that's with getting new clients in my agency and our social influence, gym owners, martial arts school owners, everyone that we're working with. We're working with e-commerce. If you're at a restaurant, I'll work with you. If you use social media to get customers in your door or to get phone numbers in selling stuff, it doesn't matter if you're selling Ice cream or Mercedes Benz, I'll work with you as long as you're coachable.

My final thoughts, two things that help me become from a poor broke country boy that quit college after the 1st year,
quit junior college baseball,
run off to become an MMA fighter,

and then transition into business,
then got stuck at a million dollars,
and then almost lose everything.
Went through a divorce and everything just kept crushing down huge weight on my shoulder and then now back to doing multi-millions this year.
