Why You Should Start Using TikTok for Your Business...

There's another social media platform you're going to eventually have to use for your business.
 
Is your business on TikTok?
 
I know what you're thinking.
 
Your customers aren't five years old or 10 years old, whatever the demographic is, but TikTok is skewing to older and older demographics.
 
It's like what Gary Vee says. Don't just listen to what he does. Watch what he does. This guy literally, in the last few months has gone from no followers to almost 2 million, getting crazy engagement and driving traffic to his different offers, his site, his empathy wines. It's insane! And the organic traffic is huge.
 
So I know you're thinking, "Oh my God, I don't want to do another social media platform."
But you need to start thinking about it because it's like Instagram.
A few years ago, no one was using it except for younger kids and then it starts to skew to older demographics.
 
It's just that happens with everything.
 
Facebook now is way older people are on it versus younger people.
TikTok eventually is going to be that 20 to 30 to 40 year old demographics.
 
So yes, I have a TikTok for my gym. We're starting to test it out because, right now all we're going to put on there is kids' content, kids doing martial arts, things like that.
 
I am also testing a travel one for me.
Right now I have one of my travel videos with 70,000 views organically. I don't even know how it got it!
I'm just using hashtags and just messing around with the platform, but I never neglect where the attention is.
 
TikTok could explode. It could get bought up by Facebook or Instagram, whatever...
Or it could be the next huge traffic source!
And the early adapters will dominate that platform.
 
So if you have a business, take a little time.
If you've got a younger employee, have them set it up and takes no time at all and then create that one.
Right now, with my martial arts school's TikTok channel - all we're putting on there is kids' martial arts. Because if little Johnny's on TikTok and he's 12 years old and he's like, "I want to do jujitsu, I want to do kickboxing."
He talks to mom and dad, he's like, "I want to go to this place."
Boom, you're the first place they'd go to!
 
How quick can you monetize it?
I don't know.
So don't spend a ton of time on it, but I mean, if you can get free traffic, that's all I care about right now - more and more free traffic, brand awareness, and local area domination.
 
 
So take a little time and invest a little bit in getting your brand on TikTok.
